Her self-written self-produced recording entitled “That’s How It Goes”, has earned her rave reviews from people such as Queen Diva of Queen Diva NYC, and Billboard magazine. Her thoughtfully penned lyrics are not just limited to her own experiences. Her ability to put other people’s thoughts and emotions into words, have distinguished her as a lyricist.brbrBorn and raised in Brooklyn, New York, her career started locally. Ayanda has been singing and playing the piano since the age of eight. Her career started under the direction of John Motley she sang with renowned artist Liza Minelli and conductor Skitch Henderson, performed in Lincoln Center, City Hall, South Street Seaport, Carnegie Hall, Madison Square Garden to name a few. She studied Music at City College of New York and Audio Technology at Five Towns College. She has since gone on the work with musicians/producers such as Clarence Penn, Wes Anderson, EJ Strickland, Fully Fresh Records, Boyd Jarvis, and CZAR Entertainment.
