Coda are a four piece from Basildon in Essex.brbrCoda are currently rehearsing their set for 2007 and venues will be announced soon.brbrCoda are four members who have been friends for many years and have been in many bands together as teenagers.brbrAll four band members have many musical skills.brAnt O'Connor is Coda's lead singer and has a wide range on his voice. Ant also writes and records music at home for his own personal enjoyment.brbr
Dan smith is Coda's guitarist and keyboard player.brDan's first instrument is the piano. He had proper tuition and studied to grade 8 level. As a second instrument Dan took up guitar, and writes and records his own music at home for Coda and himself.brbrSam Nicholls plays drums for Coda when they play live. At home Sam runs his own recording studio working freelance for several companies and produces Coda's songs. Sam plays lead guitar on all Coda tracks.brbrWayne Hunt is Coda's bass player. A bit of an instrumentalist, Wayne plays just about everything, writes and records his own music at home and has a wealth of experience when it comes to playing live shows.brbrWith all this influence, Coda gives a sound which has just about everything, piano, pads, rocking guitars, synths, acoustic and melodic vocals that stick.
Artist Mission
Coda have a mission to entertain, make great songs that people will enjoy and put on shows that people will not forget. brCoda play live to a click track so they don't lose some of the sounds in the studio that make Coda songs what they are. Its impossible for four people to create that big sound so the synths and sound effects are played by our macintosh computer, making the show more interesting.
Music Influences
Coda have too many influences to name, and all four members have a wide taste in music. The band write songs that are current but hopefully different to give the listener something new.
