"Give me a keyboard and microphone and lock me in a room, I'll come out with an album." -D.P.

After years working as a failed independent record label CEO, D.P. has finally ventured out on his own to promote and produce his own music, something that has been put on hold for 7 years.

D.P. has been writing and playing music since the age of six when he first learned to play piano, and taught himself how to play by ear.

D.P. has been producing rap music since the age of 17 when a local producer picked him up to work with his upstart independent label, a label D.P. would later co-own.

What makes D.P. unique is the fact that he not only PRODUCES the music that he raps to, but he actually creates it as well. And not from samples. All the music that you hear was actually played by the gifted hand of the rapper himself. This is truly a unique artist, one who is completely self-sufficient.

"Yo, I'm hittin ya'll hard with the 'Running Man' mixtape right now, I got hundreds of copies in the streets, plus you can download the whole thing for free from my myspace page. I got another project with all original instrumentals and songs comin out in OCTOBER, which is right around the corner. After that I'm hittin yall with ANOTHER free project in December. All of this is gearin up for the release of my first full-length project 'Renaissance Man' which will be in stores in April. I'm workin hard to bring ya'll that good music."
