Q. How do I listen to a song?
A. To listen to a song you have to have either Windows Media Player, RealPlayer G2 or Winamp (or other music player) installed on your computer. When using RealPlayer select view, then options, then MP3 files to set the player to play MP3 files. Media Player and Winamp will stream the selected song or download a song (or song clip) provided by the artist.
If you don't have a player installed you need to download one. Look for a free copy of one of the following: MediaPlayer, RealPlayer, Winamp, or Quicktime. They each come with superb technical support and information systems.
Q. What are RSS Feeds?
A. Short for Really Simple Syndication (some prefer Rich Site Summary), RSS is a lightweight XML-based technology for sharing Web content. Artistopia currently uses RSS version 2.0 and offers several RSS feeds, each of which contains the relevant artist information and a link back to Artistopia for full profile viewing. RSS feeds are free. The available RSS feeds are Music Artists by Genres and Music Charts by Genres.
