Ad Console Help

Find information on how to register as an advertiser, create your campaign, renew a campaign and other relevant information on your Ad Console. Other tips and advice are given throughout the FAQs on best use, so check those out too!

Q.  How do I register at Artistopia?


 A.  We made registering for advertising at Artistopia a painless, quick, and simple process to complete - in a 4 step process.
Step One Create Account Login- All required fields must be accurately completed.
Step Two Verify Email Address- An email will be sent to you which will contain the instructions to activate your account.
Step Three Create Ad Campaign- Once account is activated, enter the console and begin your campaign by choosing your target advertising sections, type of ad format, your display method which is the number of CPM impressions and/or number of weeks, and start dates.
Step Four Provide Payment- Upon receipt of payment and approval, your ad is then enabled to run according to the specifications you set.

Q.  How does the advertising console work?


 A.  The console is easy to use, and a great way to manipulate the ad campaign that is correct for you and your budget.

Step One After registering and logging in, go to Create Ad Campaign. Add a custom name in New Ad Campaign or select from a previously placed ad campaign and add your Promotion Code (if applicable). Decide from the Advertising Plan options (the section of Artistopia that you wish your ad to appear). Choose the Ad Size and type of ad that works best for you. For Display Method you can advertise by CPM Impressions OR by number of weeks for each ad placement. For Impressions (Imps), type in the number of Units (how many CPM unit impressions). Click "Select". If you decide on a timed ad, choose Week and type in Units the number of weeks you wish to run your ad. Click "Proceed Next" at the bottom of the page. NOTE: Ad campaigns must meet the minimum cost of $50.00 for maximum effectiveness.

Step Two Next, you will Setup the Ad Option that you selected. Select from the drop-down menu, Image or Flash. Your banner, tower or other ad image selected will have a much better presentation if chosen in the exact size specified. Fill in the Image Location URL- the link of the image or flash. If you choose Image, you must include the Destination Link. When someone clicks on the banner or tower, what link do you want them directed to? If you have a Flash banner or tower, DO NOT add the Destination Link- leave that entry blank.
When do you wish your ad campaign to begin? Choose Start Immediately (which will be as soon as payment is processed, or choose Start on this Date. Add the Start Date if that was your decision in the MM/DD/YYYY format (example: December 1, 2003 would be 12/01/2003)
Test This Ad!!! Check your entries to make sure the links work. Test the image and click it to make certain all is as you wish it to appear and goes where it should. If all information is accurate, "Proceed Next" or go to "Previous Page" for any corrections.

Step Three Payment Information. Review your options selected. If you are happy with the campaign choices selected, enter the data for your payment option. Note that all fields with the red * (asterisk) must be accurately completed. Again, recheck your information before Confirm Order.

Step Four Your payment will then be processed by Artistopia. Upon approval, your ad will begin at the chosen specifications.

Q.  I signed up for an ad to start on a certain date, so when will the ad be available for viewing on that day?


 A.  After approval and processing of your payment, your Artistopia Ad Campaign will begin between 12:00 am and 1:00 am on that start date.

Q.  My credit card information has changed, what do I do?


 A.  Very simple, go to Update Account in your Advertiser Console after logging in and add whatever new information that you need to include. You have the ability to change your password information from that location as well.

Q.  How do I renew my Ad Campaign?


 A.  First of all, thank you!! Secondly, talk about EASY advertising...we have made it so simple, in just a few clicks you can reorder a previously placed campaign. Simply go to "Create Ad Campaign" after logging in, and Artistopia remembers your previous campaigns in the drop down menu so you can click the one you wish to renew and hit "Start Order". You are then taken to Billing Payment Information, complete that and hit "Confirm Order". You're done!

Q.  I uploaded a Flash ad, why aren't I showing any clicks?


 A.  Depending on how your flash ad was programmed, you may be receiving page clicks from visitors going to your web site, but they don’t show in your advertiser console. If the flash ad was created as an animated image only, then clicks will show as they should. If the ad was programmed to go to page “x” then the clicks may not show. Keep this in mind when creating your ad images.
