Artist Biography

Hellrazor originally formed in the late 80's and quickly gained a
reputation as the most "in your face, hard rocking" band in the area.
By the early 90's, HR could be found playing both large outdoor and
smaller club shows. Their fan base continued to grow consistantly and it became a normal
routine for the County Police to be called in to control the crowds.

In the Fall of 1993, Guitarist, Paul Mullins left the band for health
reasons. The group reunited briefly for a few gigs and recorded some
tracks in Muskogee, Oklahoma at Rob Meeler Studios, after which, the
band members went their seperate ways.

Each Member played with several bands after the break up and did reach
some level of independent success, but never achieved a following as
large as that of HellRazor.

In late 2003, vocalist, Allen Powell, and guitarist, Paul Mullins, began
a recording projectthat consisted of earlier Hellrazor songs as well as some newer material.
As the recording progressed, they both felt the music was strong enough
to seek publishing, and in early 2007 they signed on to Brimstone Records
llc, releasing the self titled "Hellrazor" CD shortly thereafter.

It was at this time that Allen and Paul reunited with original Hellrazor bassist
Frankie D, and enlisted longtime friend/musician, Richard Tullos, on
drums. The chemistry between the four was apparent from the very first note.

The guys are currently playing select shows while working on the 2nd
Hellrazor disc. They hope everyone will enjoy the 1st album which is
more reminiscent of the early days of HR. The 2nd album is going to
be much better with a solidified lineup and seasoned song writing
team that will truely showcase the sound that is Hellrazor.
