This show consists of Many Classical & Jazz performances by an assortment of players including
Jack Gates Trio
Strong melodies, exciting right hand flourishes and exotic rhythmic pulses are fused in the acoustic guitar of Jack Gates. Brazilian choro, jazz chording and flamenco duende are brought together in a singular musical montage. Sharyl Gates uses wordless vocal nuances in a fresh and exciting style, combining elements of jazz, Brazilian and popular traditions to create an unique sonic palette. Jack Gates' most recent CD project is Boulevard, a solo nylon string acoustic guitar recording, and Jack Gates. Jack and Sharyl will be performing with percussionist Dave Eagle. |
