Phil Osoph's music is based on spontaneous inspiration and expressed immediately by a musical improvisation. Vocals or syllables, melody and rhythm are improvised at the same time and recorded live. The vocals/lyrics are a phantasy language made up during playing the instrument...like "speaking/singing in tongues" (glossolalia). He has developed his own guitar style and TVI-Music: Total Vocalistic Improvisation, as he calls it.
His concern for that is to grasp the original inspiration by musical expressions immediately.
