Update I: EMBRACE 2007 - Press Kit Press Kit for grassroots projects by entertainers, musicians and other participants.
As EMBRACE 2007 representatives move ahead with grass roots initiatives, our global amplification focus encompasses:
1. Coordination of a press conference and media event, that includes the entertainer/artist and representative of the focus organization(s). Recommended at location that provides access to services and programs rendered (example: day shelter for runaway youth). 2. Invitation of local press, newspaper, radio and television for statement on the EMBRACE 2007 initiative, the mission statements of the focus organization(s), unmet needs overviews and appeals. 3. Structure of press releases for distribution on international media wires and inclusion in the EMBRACE 2007 Press Kit.
The media focus is structured after the Tour de America model (two national projects - over 150 cities), that encompassed successful touch outreach campaigns (1990 campaign recognized as the largest touch outreach ever coordinated through the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Office for Substance Abuse Prevention).
