The EMBRACE 2007 Global Campaign is an interfaith initiative that encompasses the Humanitarian Resource Institute mission focus "The Ultimate Objective," in summary:
"In the grand picture of divinity at work in all facets of the interfaith community, love is the common theme that unites and encompasses the true potential through which the scope of suffering and affliction can be alleviated and peace achieved."
The theme song "They Will Know It's Christmas" presents a new global reference point for advocacy initiatives. Instead of asking, Do They Know It's Christmas? (Band AID), we are setting forward a grassroots objective in every UN member country to Reach, Empower and Communicate to "Bridge Unmet Needs to Untapped Resources" (see: Connecting the World - Citizen Journalism):
In the context of substantive progress in Darfur, please take time to read "Sudan: Obstructions and delays endanger UN deployment and civilian lives in Darfur" (ReliefWeb, 17 December 2007):
* "As our children write their Christmas wish lists to Santa and we struggle through crowds to find the perfect presents, across the world in Darfur, people are fighting to stay alive." -- All we want for Christmas, Mirror UK, 14 December 2007.
* "Sudan has still not agreed to non-African troops or unrestricted night flights for the new 26,000-strong peacekeeping force for Darfur that is expected to take over on Jan. 1, a senior U.N. official said Thursday." -- UN Official: Sudan Hampering New Force, AP - United Nations, 14 December 2007.
Humanitarian Resource Institute has advanced an objective "to bridge unmet needs to untapped resources" since 1994. On a daily basis, I work to facilitate information flow to the decision making level in every UN member country to assist in strategic planning and development. The focus is a bottom line approach, many time behind the scenes, but encompasses the players that can shift billions with a telephone call to the household level in a target demographic.
The "Arts Integration into Education" (Arts/Music/Entertainment Industry focused) initiative encompasses the grass roots arm of this work (now under the umbrella of EMBRACE 2007).

Warmest Wishes and thank you for your support.
