This morning I sit here, sweating blood every day working with the challenges presented to Humanitarian Resource Institute. Bottom line, 24/7 since 1994:
1. Defining the priority issues (Humanitarian Relief). 2. Connecting the worlds top reference points on the subject matter (Medicine, Veterinary Medicine and Law). 3. Establishing a direction and peer reviewed body of information for strategic planning and development. 4. Dissemination of the information to the key decision makers from the city council level in 3100 United States counties to leaders in every United Nations member country for real time consensus building and action.
"The world cannot respond, if the world does not know."
Bringing this work down to the grassroots level, so every person has access to the same tools, is a main objectives of the "Arts Integration into Education" initiative (Volunteerism: You Can Change the World: MySpace Music Bulletin, 28 January 2008). The arts and entertainment industry has the direct connection to the grassroots level and together we can make this objective a reality.
But we are now at a point, where it is Time to Step UP and do what's right for your fans. They support you and it is vital that you support them. But first we need to understand that if you go down to the grassroots level across the United States, communities are facing serious, serious challenges. When we move out of the borders of the United States to third world countries, the challenges are catastrophic.
With your help, we can rise up once again as a nation "The Eagle Will Rise," but we can only do this if we join together and work on behalf of the weak with the intensity of the paraphrase from the "Art of War," Sun Tzu (The Warriors Code):
When campaigning, be swift as the wind; In leisurely march, majestic as the forest; In attack, like fire; In standing, firm as the mountains. As unfathomable as the clouds, Move like a thunderbolt. To protect the weak.
Your voice is crucial to this progression. If you are silent, we will move ahead with what we have, because time is not our friend when every day 30,000 children die due to preventable causes (God Bless The Children) .
