Nirvana: Different Paths to Divinity

I short time ago a Hollywood publisher shared a note regarding the song lyrics for "The Eagle Will Rise." The concern related to the view of a single God, a male God, and a nation under this God, and current challenges being a huge part of the problem (in their opinion) in terms of global conflict and the world view of the United States, a nation that has historically acted as if IT was God: But as we stand once again, the eagle will fly We will rise up to the challenge, the world will recognize That the people in this country, are ready to fight One nation under God, established in His might Our nation will rally, and our flag will fly high O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave This dialogue highlighted the importance of a spirituality that celebrates the universal equality of humanity, as referenced in the world of 12-step programs such as NA or AA, where people come together with a notion of a Higher Power in peace, harmony and support. I tried to share that the mission focus of the nonprofit organization Humanitarian Resource Institute, was outlined in the interfaith overview "The Ultimate Objective" where unity via a unified objective of care, compassion, benevolence is the basis for efforts to meet the needs of the suffering and afflicted, rich and poor. In martial arts, tapping the human potential encompasses a harmonious mind, body and spirit realization. The human heart when placid and clear, reflects the image of the divine or the Tao. Pistis (faith or connection), Charis (grace or divine influence) and Dunamis (power or the supernatural creative power of God), encompass the purpose of the scriptures. The word (logos) does not point to the written page or word in the grammatical sense, it points that that which is connected with the inward thought. And though we have all faith, that could remove mountains, one thing is for sure, if we don't have love, it doesn't mean a thing, for God is love, and it's the test of everything.
