Despite their challenges, their drive and tunnel vision encompasses 100 percent 24/7 commitment to the task at hand. With the right tools and support system, they reach new heights. Seize the Moment In martial arts, when one enters the ring, there are two perceptive focuses, that of central vision and peripheral vision. Central vision focuses on a specific aspect of your competitor or environment (leaving vulnerabilities proportional to the other factors that are out of focus). Peripheral vision (mental clarity - wushin or no-mindedness) takes in the entire picture, providing the full capacity for fluid response. It is at this moment that the technique or tools established can be engaged, moment by moment with the objective of execution of the task at hand. Hold Me Close Everyone knows the difference between a hug with a few superficial pats on the back and embrace from someone who really cares. ### Country Music Association artist Stephen Michael Apatow has been there, taken the issues, met with the executive directors of the frontline programs, conducted the talks for youth and community leaders in hundreds of United States cities, coast to coast. The bottom line was needs analysis and "to bridge Unmet Needs to Untapped Resources." After forming Humanitarian Resource Institute in 1994, he became an advocate for this work in all 50 states and territories, and at the request of leaders in Washington expanded his reach to every United Nations member country as an advocate for policy development and humanitarian relief in the fields of medicine, veterinary medicine and law. Today, this work continues with an objective for collaboration and unity, including his work with the music and entertainment industry.
