Reaching the Grassroots Level this Holiday Season
On the grassroots level in 195 United Nations member countries, effective communication is now the theme.
Did you ever have an challenge in your family that needed to be discussed, but wasn't ? Did you ever see that problem mushroom into an explosion, that left everyone shell shocked, gathering for the same problem solving discussion that would have prevented the challenge ? Have you every pondered how great it would be, if we could avoid the stress associated with a crisis responsive growth process ?
Whether it's a family issue or a community problem (where a well meaning media publication misses a few important points), the key to resolution and clarity is communication. In a family that could mean sitting down together for a problem solving or conflict resolution discussion. In a community, access to accurate information (sometimes hand delivery or email to every home) and talking one on one is the key to consensus building and progress. This is the micro level.
On the macro level, the same applies:
The unmet need is presented, dialogue is established, research gathered and communication facilitated to every decision maker in a demographic.... It is at this point that we can watch a shift occur at the speed of an email.
