Susan Hickman is a recording artist from Houston, Texas. She has been involved with music all of her life, she plays the piano and violin and has been singing and dancing from a very early age.
Her debut album "It's No Game," is a funky contemporary pop/dance album, with catchy hooks that stay with you long after the CD stops playing.
Susan's live show is a great blend of her vocals and dance ability, backed up by two dancers, interpreting her music with high-energy choreography that was created by herself and her dancers. Susan enjoys bringing to her show a different performance than what is usually seen in her area.
Susan is currently doing performances across Texas, to help promote all the grand openings and re-images of the McDonald's restaurants! Susan will also be co-hosting along with recording artist Brent Wilson, the Inspire The Desire Junior & Senior Gospel Talent Showcase. Contest presented by Liberty Associates, finalists will appear on PAX 49 television.
Artist Mission
Since the realese of my debut album It's No Game, I have been the mind frame to do what it takes to get my music out there, my music career, consumes a great amount of time, energy, self-discipline, and an undying determination. Every morning I wake up and think to myself.. to stand up in front of an audience and perform, and to share with the world what I love to do, That's the best job anyone could ever ask for... Look what I can do.
Music Influences
I don't know where I would be today without the support of my family, Because my Mom and Dad believed in me, I was able to put together my first album It's No Game... and my sister has been by my side from the beginning, from long rehearsals, dancing at all hours of the night, we've really been through a lot together, she's a great listener and wonderful friend.
