| Hwy 52 is one of Southern California's finest bluegrass bands. With Wayne Dickerson on guitar, Chris Stuart on banjo, Kim Weeks on resonator guitar, Richard Burkett on mandolin, and Elizabeth Burkett on acoustic bass, this is one hard-driving group!
Wayne, Chris and Elizabeth contribute high lonesome vocals and great original songs to the band's repertoire, and all the members are virtuoso pickers who share a love of traditional music exemplified by the Stanley brothers, Larry Sparks and Del McCoury. |

From the L.A. and Orange County areas: take 5 or 15 South to 76 East to 79, turn right to 78/79 (Santa Ysabel) turn left to Julian, OR take 5 or 15 South to 78 East to Julian. At the stop sign in downtown Julian (there is only one) take a left to Frank Lane Park approx. 1/4 mile on the right hand side.
From the San Diego areas: take I-8 East to Highway 67 (toward Ramona). 67 turns into 78 in Ramona, follow to Julian, OR take I-8 East to 79 (through the Cuyamaca State Park) to Julian. Turn left and proceed to the stop sign in downtown Julian (there is only one) go straight to Frank Lane Park approx. 1/4 mile on the right hand side.
From the Carlsbad / Vista areas take 78 East to Julian. At the stop sign in downtown Julian (there is only one) take a left to Frank Lane Park approx. 1/4 mile on the right hand side. You can pick up 78 East from I-15 in Escondido or I-5 in Carlsbad |
