Artist Biography

Alan, and brother Alex; Gabriel, and sister Rocio; and of course… Ricky… just another bunch of kids-yet not your average Christian band.

This multitalented band is a fusion of 70’s, 90’s and alternative (Alex the lead guitarist) they are definitely a unique sound of their own. Led by 17 year old vocalist Rocio (pronounced Roseeo) these kids are about ministry. X-Road is recruiting to the beat of a different drum, they’re encouraging their piers to “look unto Jesus.” Says Ricky the keyboardist of X-Road, “we want to share the love of Christ amongst the youth of the nations of the world. We all have something to give, we can all make a huge impact with our youth, God wants to impact the youth of this world, and together we can make a difference.”

This Honduran born band has taken the stage with a vengeance. For only having been around for three years like most garage bands, they’ve dedicated themselves to hard work perfecting their craft. Their big debut came when drummer Gabriel heard of a “Battle of The Bands Contest” on the radio while surfing the stations on the way home from work. Gabriel immediately called the phone number from the announcement and put X-Road into the line up. Little did the band know that Eric Kline (senior producer for the “Box” now MTV2) CEO of Inside The Music Business, and Mary Ann Padron station manager of 89.7 F.M. WMCU were amongst the judges of the contest. X-Road was the unanimous choice, and since then they have been winning the hearts and minds of youth wherever they perform.
