The Vision. In 1999, a group of talented individuals from different cities across the U.S. came together @ an ATL high school and forged a deal to make quality, fun, real original music & artistry. Stemming from hip hop to to Old School R&B, the presence of true talent has & will always influence tha Camp.
Expansion. A. Camp is not a group, but a state of mind and informally an organization with the idea of being committed to "breaking free" of the *talent-less* hold that has engulfed the industry... Fake artistry, bad business, and unoriginality. We support those on our grounds but refrain from staying grounded, by *reaching out* to people All Around The World.
Alcatraz Camp is the stage between leaving the mediocre beginings and entering The Profession. Once you get the A. Camp seal of approval, you are sworn in, to a Unit of non-stop *Hustlaz*Entreprenuers*Entertainers*Educators*Artists*.... Many are interested, few are accepted.
Services....We feature artists who we believe have what it takes to grow in the entertainment business, beginning with locals & hungry visitors, through marketing & compilation/ mixtapes. No greed here, we show hunt and support so we all can get connected and create a market and stream of our own.
Artist Mission
I know that ATL has been and still is on top of the charts, but as crazy as it sounds, it is not over. There is an untapped resourse in ATL. Not south,east, west, but north; the northside of Atlanta has plenty to offer and, here, is the talent on the forefront of the northside movement. brbrThe Camp is the stage between leaving the mediocre beginings and entering the profession. Once you get through Camp, your a soldier. Entrees that move up get branded with the A. Camp seal and move on, and so it thrives on new blood.
