Action Toolbelt is Long Island’s newest sound. Somewhere in-between Emo, Punk, Power Pop, and Indie Rock, their music is completely original, and strangely familiar. Action Toolbelt’s music draws influence from the roots of today’s sound as well as the 80s and 90s.Think Foo Fighter/ Superchunk/Mats/Ataris/Saves the day
Artist Mission
Action toolbelt is a 4 piece Power pop/Emo band that is part of the very popular Long Island, NY music scene.
After being together only 2 months and having only a 4 song demo, the band was quickly signed to Fastmusic after being heard on Mp3.com.
Then spent the last several months playing in festivals in NYC and Long Island and finishing up there first album due out in May 2004.
Adding elements of Rock/Power Pop/ Emo/ Punk and indie there music seems to cross most barriers that other bands can't.
