Album Summary
2010 two CD collection from the Norwegian Pop trio. After nine albums, an iconic music video, and sales of more than 36 million worldwide, 2010 celebrates a-ha's 25th anniversary and final year together. The album includes 38 a-Ha favorites including 'Take On Me', 'The Sun Always Shines On TV', 'Cry Wolf' and 'Velvet' plus the brand new track 'Butterfly, Butterfly (The Last Hurrah)'. Warner.
Digitally remastered and expanded two CD edition of the Norwegian trio's 1985 debut album, released to coincide with the band's farewell tour and the album's 25th Anniversary. A-Ha may have seemed to come out of nowhere when they released the worldwide hit 'Take On Me' in '85, but the band's roots stretched back to the early '80s. While the trio was unable to maintain a high profile in the U.S., they continued to record, tour and score hits for over two decades in Europe and Asia. While the band will take their final bow in 2010, their musical legacy will continue long after that last note has long faded away. Disc One features the original album plus four additional tracks including remixes and the original 1984 version of 'Take On Me'. Disc Two contains 23 rare tracks including demos, early recordings and so much more. Rhino UK.

16 track 1991 retrospective from WEA International of the '80s Norwegian pop trio's finest, including the #1 U.S. smash 'Take On Me' and the U.S. top 20 hit 'The Sun Always Shines On TV', as well as remixes of a few tracks.
Out of print in the U.S.! East Of The Sun, West Of The Moon was the Norwegian trio's fourth album and was originally released in 1990. Although they had fallen out of favor in the U.S., the band remained extremely successful in Europe and Japan.
