Artist Biography

Angel Of Violation is a solo artist born in Chester, England on December 24th. Currently living in North Wales he is bringing fresh life into the rock scene. The music can be described as Alternative Rock, there are influences from Metal, Punk, and Emo. The artists real name is Steven Hoole and he attempts to create a collection of songs that are contrasting on each album.

Currently Steven is recording and producing his second album at his home studio in North Wales. The second album to be put out on September 10th 2007 follows the release of the debut album ‘Violate The Masses’ and single ‘The Passion’ previously released. It was on internet website Myspace his music started to make a buzz. With lots of positive responses and a fast growing interest and over 9,000 plays to date.
The debut album Violate The Masses featured a variety of tracks from the extreme metal number ‘Skull Concerto In Death Minor’ to a song with eye opening lyrics and style ‘ The Passion’ as well as ‘Violate the Masses’ where a scary vision of the future is played out. “I Can’t Control Myself’ he sings in a robotic voice during the number. As well as the cover of hit single ‘Love Hurts the album did not lack variety.
This sent Steven on his way to complete a virtual tour where songs were recorded from his house each day and broadcast onto the internet for viewing. This along with an intimate acoustic gig had convinced him that he could do much better and so he went to work on the sophomore effort ‘The Sensation Of Pain’
Steven Hoole had been in bands since he picked up the guitar at fourteen. After many failed attempts to create the perfect band and a new interest in recording he decided to bravely go it alone. He took up responsibility of playing all instruments after quickly learning keyboard and gaining some skills as well as building up his vocal skills.
Steven had always loved music and wanted a career in it. “ From a young age I expressed a love for music, it’s all I ever wanted to do.” he says. He went to college to study Music Technology in Wrexham and left with the qualification and a selection of new skills. He plans to keep on making albums whether twenty or twenty thousand people are listening in.
Times have changed in the world of music and so has Steven from a fourteen year old Metal head to a diverse and interesting musician with bags of originality and style. If the new album is half as good as the first then watch out.
