Many rappers come and go in this day and time, but there is one who is sure to leave his mark on the world. His name is A.R., or as he refers to himself, "The B.I.G. of Atlanta". This Atlanta native is originally from East Point, Georgia, which is located on the Southside of Atlanta. Since age 10, he's been perfecting his flow and lacing tracks with heat, and now, at 18, he's giving most rappers in there prime a run for there money, and get this... HE ISN'T EVEN SIGNED YET!
He recently finished his first independent mixtape, which is entitled " The Process Vol. 1". The mixtape features Numerous freestyles as well as a few snippets from some promising original songs that are soon on their way to airplay. As far as the original stuff goes, these tracks include such titles as "Welcome To My Hood", "Beat It Up", "Bad Bitch", and "Like It Like That", all of which were produced by Greg "JGymini" Allen II for Elemental Entertainment. Then you've got the freestyle side of the mixtape where A.R. raps over instrumentals from a number of big-name artist, such as Camron's "Down and Out" and Tony Yayo's "I Know U Don't Love Me". In a recent interview with a local Atlanta magazine, A.R. tells writer Terry Wells, "I waited a long time to get on, and now that I've finally gotten started, the world's gonna see that I'm That Nigga!!!" He's looking to find a deal with a hot label, so if you think he's on point and wanna do business, you'd better move fast, otherwise you'd be outta luck!
