The room explodes with an energy so undeniable it can hardly be contained. A Stone's Throw has just launched into a full-volume rehearsal session, blasting out their original music with enough enthusiasm and passion to fill a twenty-thousand seat arena. The Tennessee band (made up of former members of established bands such as Rail, Fusion, and Bleak Reality that have shared the stage with national acts such as Dust for Life, Seether, Saliva, P.O.D., Taproot, Chevelle, Disturbed and more!) is quietly lurking, waiting to unleash its storm upon the unsuspecting musical landscape. To call their music modern rock would be correct, if not wholly insufficient. Powerful, yet refined enough to appeal to the masses, A Stone's Throw is a musically mature mix that employs haunting lyrical hooks with hard-driven, sheer musical force to encapsulate the listener from the first few notes.

Vocalist T-Jay Tipps delivers a tour de force performance, transitioning both eagerly and smoothly between powerful highs and throaty, wrenching lows. The guitar attack of Shawn Fitzgerald and Scott Ozier provides a sonic foundation of riffs, effects, and generally in-your-face punch. Rounding out the lineup, drummer and Ohio native Robb Moceri lays the groundwork upon which the castle is built, never ceasing to amaze with his energetic performance and bassist Vincent Mathis hands down the low-end with enough gusto to knock your teeth in.
