Artist Biography

Born in Brooklyn and raised in Queens, NYC, DELPH credits his musical genius to being a life long student of Hip-Hop music. At the mere age of thirteen DELPH was awarded his first record deal with an independent New York City record label Yamaka Records. The owner of the label one of hip-hop’s true innovators Melquan new back then that DELPH had what it took to bring a new element to hip-hop music. For those of you who are not up on your hip-hop trivia, Melquan was indirectly instrumental in the development of two other musical geniuses, RZA and GZA of the Wu-Tang Clan. That’s right! Melquan was the person who bought the RZA his first music sampler, and as they say the rest is history, need I say more! brbrAfter moving down south to Raleigh, North Carolina, it has allowed him to master MC’ing & Beat making. DELPH is also host/star of his own hip-hop video show - The Laundry Mat! Through the LaundryMat Show DELPH blazes the Raleigh – Durham, and New York City areas with one-on-one interviews with hip-hops biggest and brightest stars - from the likes of Master P of No Limit record fame, the Cash Money Millionaires, Ludacris and LL Cool J to name a few.brbrLook for Big Delph's new video "BACK OUT" .
