Biography
BLP sources|date=February 2011 Bob Mintzer is a jazz saxophonist , composer, arranger, and big band leader based in Los Angeles, California . Mintzer is a member of the jazz rock band the Yellowjackets . He used to play the bass clarinet in Jaco Pistorius' Big Band, but switched to tenor sax.
