Artist Biography

Rick Super, vocals, guitars, keyboards, songwriter (2002- present ).
He writes songs in many different genres:romantic rock, punk rock, rebel rock, goth rock, comedy rock, and outlaw country rock and lives on Gabriola Island BC Canada.
He is the creator and producer of the rockband Broomstick Witches. His band has been rocking through many underground music sites since the spring of 2002. He mostly rocks alone. Sometimes he uses a drum machine. In 2007 he used many drum trax that a drummer friend sent to him by e-mail. They had a good collaboration and they completed three full length albums.
Rick Super has four stage characters he uses when he performs his songs.

1) Metamorf, a glitzy sleazy gothic glam creature from Andromeda.

2) Johnny Blackstone, a punkish rock and roll vampyre pirate.

3) Psykogothikis, a demonic death metal rocker
who works for the devil.

4) Rick Supernatural, a magical mystical wizard who plays hauntingly
dark romantic songs on keyboards and on guitars.


Benny Gooslin, drums ( on 3 albums recorded in 2007.) He is an amazing and versatile drummer from McCarr, Kentucky, U.S.A. He met Rick Super on myspace. Rick and Benny decided to record some albums together. Benny sent Rick drum trax which he used in his gothic punk recordings. Rick tried to make the albums sound like real live recordings even though they were studio productions.


All the albums were recorded at the SuperBalance Studio
which is located on Gabriola Island BC Canada.

Since the spring of 2002 Rick Super has recorded seven full length studio albums in his own studio. He has also created many music videos which are available for viewing on some of his music sites. Musical Inspiration

The weird world of his dreams and his bizarre imagination have
been the demonic sources of his musical creations. When asked whom does he work for he will answer:” I’m a rockin rebel. I work for the devil. Rock 24/7. Aint goin to heaven.”

Other Projects

Rick Super is also the creator and producer of a comedy rock project
called Wizard of Wow. The first album is coming out sometime in 2011.

Gigs

Broomstick Witches is an underground band and doesn’t not perform
live shows in the mainstream world of music. All performances can only be seen in videos and in secret underground demonic venues.
