Todd began his career as a recording artist with a Billboard TOP 20 radio hit entitled "It's The Way". He has also been involved in writing/producing for many successful artists such as Jordin Sparks (19 Entertainment/Jive Records), Ashley Tisdale (Warner Bros. Records), Josh Kelley (DNK), Mitchel Musso (Walt Disney Records), Honor_Society_(band)|Honor Society (Hollywood Records) and Ashley Roberts from the Pussycat Dolls .
Todd has co-created and developed an act for Warner Bros Records called V Factory . He was the group’s executive producer as well as writing and producing about half of the group’s first CD. In addition, Nickelodeon and Sony Music asked him to be a music consultant for a new boy band, Big Time Rush .
Todd wrote and produced "Breakthrough" for the Disney Original Movie Lemonade Mouth (film)|Lemonade Mouth . He also co-wrote and produced the song " I'm Still Alive (TWiiNS song)|I'm Still Alive " for the Slovakia n sister duo, TWiiNS .cite news|url= http://www.musiccorner.gr/? p=20365|title=???s??? ???µ???s?
