Artist Mission
Could artists from different countries, different continents, and different cultural and professional backgrounds collaborate to create different music? A form of music without borders, without labels, without genres? Is this possible?
Buccimazza, a collection of interrelated projects by a diverse group of musicians from Africa, Europe, the Near East, and North America, attempts to answer that question. An amalgamation of an enormous range of musical styles, from Minimalist Classical to Portuguese Fado to Hip-Hop to Electro-Rock and Afro-dada, Buccimazza has, somewhat fortuitously, created a unique form of global hybrid art.
