| My son was so excited to get the 1st set of books and they came in good time. The problem was that they sent us 2 of the same books in the set and when I sent them an e-mail they did not respond - I would not order something else from this company |

Hilarious Series Submitted on: 2009-09-15 |

Having trouble getting your 2nd to 4th grader to read? Try this hilarious series about two boys, Harold and George, who love practical jokes, love anything that's gross, but most of all love to write and draw a comic book they call Captain Underpants. Through the help of their hypno-ring, they are able to transform their mean old principal, Mr. Krupp, into an actual living Captain Underpants. And the best part of it all--Mr. Krupp never knows what hit him, literally. The series is fun to read, entertaining, and full of adventures that children will just love.

My *five* year old loves these! Submitted on: 2009-07-09 |
|
| I can't believe I'm about to confess that I allow my five year old daughter to read these books! Initially, it started out as a tool to get her off of those darn "Fairy" books, which she was devouring, much to my disagreement. Captain Underpants did the trick. She must have stumbled upon it at the school library, because soon it was all she ever talked about. We're only two books into the collection, but I am in awe that she "gets" the jokes, she has the book practically memorized - and she is still a Sunday school attending, beautiful and proper little girl. It's the perfect balance when life is full of too many rules and not enough silliness. |

More powerful than boxer shorts Submitted on: 2009-07-01 |

| The Son just called it his favorite book. Lots of the jokes are intended for the adult readers. The kids love the illustrations and the absurdity of the story. There is more text than the typical preschooler book which makes it easier on the parent reading. |
