| Absolutely fantastic ! The book is fascinating - background and technical info from the author and other principals in the making of the Lion King on Broadway that was captivating. We were able to get tickets for the Lion King here in Anchorage, Alaska and having read the book made us appreciate the production even more. Bravo ! |

| I found this book to be a very interesting look into the creation of this show. A fascinating read for theater professionals and fans alike. Lots of pictures and technical drawings of the creative process. Makes me wish I had a fraction of the creativity of Julie Taymor and her accomplices. |

| I ordered this book as an aid in helping me with my fledgling free-lance costume design business. I found it to be extremely inspirational and informative. I felt like was on the production team of this fabulous musical, learning all the tricks of the trade. I'm very happy to add this book to my collection of art and fashion design books. The pictures are wonderful! |

| I came home from a production of The Lion King staged in Appleton, Wisconsin, and was so enthralled I immediately set out to find out "How did they do that?" This book met and exceeded by expectations. I am an amateur costumer and puppeteer and this just the stuff to bring a smile to my face. Before this book I was not aware of Julie Taymor by name (Sorry, from a small town, don't get out much) but I will be looking for her work from now on. |

| I have seen the stage production of the Lion King twice--in Toronto and East Lansing, MI. Vendors offered a souvenir photo brochure for $20. For only a few dollars more, I purchased Julie Taymor's book from Amazon describing one of the most amazing creative achievements I have ever seen. Get the book! See the show! |
