A great record, even for a non-christian. Submitted on: 2004-11-09 |

| I must admit, I was a bit skeptical about Michael Smith when I first heard of him. I'm not really into "God-Rock", but this artist doesn't get weighed down by any titles. "Place in This World" is one of the most inspirational songs I have ever heard."For You" isn't far behind... All I can say, is give it a try...you just might get blown away! |

I grew up wit hthis album. As a child I remember listing to it on a tape deck.
Go west Youngman just speaks to me,
While Love crusade makes me get up and praise/dance.
And the haunting melody of children singing to God. Agnus Dei always sends shiviers dow nmy spine. This album is soo good. Hey, im listening to it right now! |

I grew up with this, and I LOVE it!!! Submitted on: 2004-08-12 |

| First of all, this album is obviously an early 90s album, that however doesn't make it bad, just remember where music was coming out of the 80s with a love of all things synthesized, and enjoy the album for what it is. And what it is, is an amazing group of great pop tunes, some of these songs are my favorites by michael, "for you" unbelievable and so much fun, a great album you won't be dissapointed |

| This was my first christian album and it is brilliant Go West youn man starts with galloping horses and then the funky love crusade kicks in at the bridge with michael raping. This album allso includes the top 5 hit place in this world which proves tht gospel does have the power to cross over. In my opion out Go west young man and live the life are the best smitty albums yet and any one that doest have go west, go west, south, east, north and get a copy Brilliant!!! |

| Wow, so many great Smitty songs on Go West Young Man, including a mainstream hit ("Place In This World") and a praise & worship classic ("Agnus Dei"). How's that for diversity? "See To Sow", with a wonderful chorus and very cool use of an African children's choir, is a personal favorite. One small problem with this album: it's a little too short. Other than that...it's flawless. |
