| If you are looking for his "fast picking Hee Haw sounding songs," sorry. To be honest, he never recorded anything like that. He usually recorded slow, string-laden ballads. These recordings are from his mid 60's tenure on Capitol records where they tried to market him as a pop singer. Lots of strings and background vocalists. Not bad music by any means. Included is his masterful, and original, version of "Malengunua," and also "The Tips of My Fingers." If you are serious about your collection, this belongs in it. |
