| Are you kidding?! Melissa Etheridge is a phenomenally talented singer and songwriter. This album, like most between her first two and "Awakening", is less blues-rock, more soul-rock -- but it's pure emotion and awesome sound! |

Pure Melissa Submitted on: 2006-06-06 |

| I've been debating with myself which albums I'd take to a deserted island. This is one of them. Melissa has many great albums. To me she's one of the artists that have the most wholesome discography. It's a bit of a battle to say which one of her albums I like the best but I would say it's this one. The album seems to be in the beautiful crossroads, something old and something new, though most of her material is pretty time-defying. Your Little Secret is like an emotional movie that takes you on a journey and tells you your life story. It's a powerful, rocking, radio-friendly/melodic (but never tame), touching entity. The album embraces the gamut of Melissa Etheridge's work. To me this is Melissa Etheridge. |

Your Little Secret: What do lesbians do on the second date? Submitted on: 2005-10-07 |

| The album is, in my opinion, her best. I love the music, the lyrics. Melissa is a mediocre artist at best, but this album tells a story that we can all identify with GBLTQ and not. An oldie but a goodie! Do not keep this a secret!! :) |

Full charged rock and roll! Heavy on the guitars! Submitted on: 2004-10-20 |

| Melissa's '93 album won all the awards and commercial radio airplay, but this 1995 album is really the kicker! Melissa's not taking any mess here on this album! Heavy on the guitars on most of the songs, this is full blown rock and roll that can make her male competition sit down and take note! I still love Your Little Secret, especially the very end where she screams like wild and then the guitars blast so loud at the end, the amplifiers might have self destructed! They were onto Come Over a lot, but I very much like the rockers more. Just turn it up on this one, because Melissa's not having it here!!!!!! |

This is the Cd that introduced me to a whole new world.... Submitted on: 2004-05-14 |

| Being from a small town, I always wondered if there were other people out there like me. I heard "Nowhere to Go" on VH1 and I thought, Hey, this is a cool song, the artist seems pretty mysterious too!! I bought the cd and wore it out!!! I became a huge fan after that. Listening to her lyrics I could relate to everything on this cd and for that, all of her songs she's ever written. If you are interested in buying a Melissa cd, this is the one to buy for first timers... you'll never get enough of this one... Hope you enjoy!! |
