Xmas with Conniff Submitted on: 2009-10-04 |

| Music is great, however; the condition of the jewel case was damaged when it arrived. The jewel case was cracked in several places. Amazon shipped the CD in a padded envelope rather than a protective cardboard box. |

Brings back memories... Submitted on: 2009-08-11 |

Ok,, so here goes. I love Ray Conniff, thanks to my mom I grew up (I am 34 yrs old) hearing the Ray Conniff Album (Cassette) like everyday. We have Neil Sedaka, Johnny Mathis, Percy Faith, you name it.. But Ray Conniff has a different sound, they bring life to every song. I love this Christmas Album I remember waking up at 5-6AM in the morning to study for exams, I play this and I really felt happiness and the Christmas spirit especially when Christmas is near I even remember there was a time everyone starts playing Christmas Songs in August (yes and not just us!). But as I became older I noticed it became later and later.. I guess people wasnt excited about Christmas anymore unlike before.
One of the songs that really caught my attention is "Christmas Bride" and as a teen I wished that I be married on Christmas Day and the Choir or Orchestra will play that for me, that I would be a Christmas Bride.. Well no it didn't happen.. But I am still wishing =).
I have always thought that songs before (classics) are way better than the ones we hear now. Wanted to play and buy some classic albums to play here at home so I can teach my kids to appreciate music and instill to my kids that classics and good music live forever, just like how my mom did with me. =) |

Christmas once again. Submitted on: 2009-01-27 |

| I first bought this as a vinyl album in the early 1960's and it quickly became part of our family holiday celebration. Over 30 plus years, with constant playing at Christmas time, the record became scratched and nearly worn out. Eventually we discontinued playing it. This new CD is delightful. It's like being outside in the snow, building a snowman, and better than I even remembered. It's so fresh and cheery. I'm glad to have Christmas back with our family again ! |

Childhood Memories as well. Submitted on: 2008-12-08 |

I remember hearing this LP when i was very young at my Grandmas house, and up until last year I've been looking for it for many, many years, I'm 35.
Note: Track 10, sounds like the song on polar express, they ripped off Ray or whoever wrote the song. |
