If you're a girl, 16, questionable IQ, like tight red clothing and sleep with the jock who terrorizes the entire school, I guess this is a good way to start a seven CD music collection. You have heard six albums in your life, and this is, like, the best ever. It rocks, and so it's the best, because it rocks.
And you'll find that this stuff sounds great on a one speaker pink boom box. Remember! it has to be pink, and bought at Neiman Marcus. Like the boom box, this stuff kicks butt, and is the best CD ever made. And the beat is great, because in rocks!!!!!!!!!!
And yes, the guitars on "Turn Me Loose" do have that gleeming, 80s, compressed punch, and I guess the decending, cartoon-blues synth riff on "Working For The Weekend" is a good hook.
FOLKS!!!!! this is not even real rock. With all the shiny keyboreds and ecchoing drum pounds, this is a homogonized idea of what rock, even 80s rock, sounds like. If this stuff ever had any bite, the production has washed it away. The singer here makes Steve Perry look like Muddy Waters, and the rest of these idiots, preening around with headbands and spandex, look rediculus, even by sub-prime 80s jock rock standards.
I guess if i had to choose between eating glass and listening to this, I............um, can I at least have some milk with that? |

Almost perfect! Submitted on: 2009-06-16 |

| If you love Loverboy then how could you not love this cd! It has all their best songs. The only downside, in my opinion, is the slow songs. Get rid of them, then this cd is perfect! I know that every band has to show their soft side but I don't like it. Just keep rockin'! |

| I don't think that I realized how many cool 80's songs Loverboy had until I got this CD. Good stuff for the casual fan, like myself. |
