Very good album, underrated Submitted on: 2009-09-21 |

Every once in awhile you'll mention Spacehog to someone, just to see if they've ever heard of the band. They never do. It's a shame.
I saw them live back in 1997 or something, a small venue (The Strand, Providence) and they were a lot of fun and they sounded great. And yes, we all did yell "Spacehog!" during Never Coming Down.
I've been a fan since.
There's almost nothing bad about this album, with highlights being In The Meantime, Candyman and The Last Dictator, Never Coming Down.
Good stuff, you should listen to this.

Great debut Submitted on: 2009-07-02 |

| RESIDENT ALIEN is one of the better albums of the 1990s. The three singles, "Space is the Place", "Cruel to be Kind", and the big hit "In the Meantime", are the best tracks on the album and I particularly like "Cruel to be Kind". "Spacehog" (the song) and "Never Coming Down, pt. 1" are rather skippable but the rest of the tracks on the album (and especially the aforementioned trio of singles) are fantastic and make RESIDENT ALIEN worth five out of five stars. |

Fun Music, not to be taken seriously? Submitted on: 2008-11-19 |

| I ordered this CD because I liked the first song, "In The Meantime," which is a really nice good song, and the others are good, also - just fun music. Track # 5, they could have kept off. |

Lousy then......worse now!! Submitted on: 2008-05-09 |

| Had the misfortune to see this pathetic group of rockstar wannabees live at an all day event years ago. Spacehog headlined on the strength of that mediocre hit single but were easily the worst band of the day!!! Oh yeah, this album reeks also!!! |
