| These aren't the original recordings. It sounds like they tracked down the original artists to re-do them, but their voices are really bad. Too bad - I really looked forward to this album. |

| This is a rather skimpy collection, as the decade of the 1970s gave us plenty more than just 10 million sellers. It is interesting though, for the variety of styles represented here: rock by Rare Earth, Badfinger and Paul Revere and The Raiders, catchy pop by Edison Lighthouse, Paper Lace and Sweet, impressive vocal pop by Hamilton, Frank and Reynolds and sweet rapping soul by The Chi-Lites. The track weighting leans more towards the early part of the decade, as Love Grows Where My Rosemary Goes, Don't Pull Your Love, Here Comes That Rainy Day Feeling, Indian Reservation and Have You Seen Her all hit the charts in either 1970 or 1971, whilst the contributions of Sweet and Paper Lace come from the middle of the decade. These songs are all great but there are many more comprehensive 1970s collections available. |

| What a bummer! I expected the songs to be the originals. They are the same artists, but all songs were newer versions of the oldies but goodies. It's just not what I remembered! |
