BEST ANI ALBUM EVER!!!!! Submitted on: 2008-02-09 |

| Ani DiFranco is a one-of-a-kind artist. Poet, singer, guitarist, feminist, lable-maker/owner....the list could continue for quite a while. As an avid Ani listener, I have heard EVERY album (even live albums) by her, and I personally find this to be the most raw of them all. I have seen her multiple times live and this is a great representation of her on stage. She is so cute! Please buy this album...it will enrich your life! |

| I think that this cd is over rated as a stunning live cd...its good but not that fantastic. She does do an amazing rendition of "Amazing Grace". |

AS GOOD AS IT GETS Submitted on: 2006-08-15 |

Nothing much to say more about this double, live album really: great voice, great guitar playing, a lot of passion (from the "urge to rock" to funny stories to "melodramatic" revelations to social cosciousnesses), wonderful band (the outstanding Sara Lee at the bass and Andy Stochansky at the drums), perfect production, beautiful booklet.
The most recommended of her albums (and of all albums of '90ies indeed). |

This is the real thing performed with joy and depth by a
woman who was born do do nothing else.
A superb showcase for Ani's singing,guitar playing,and
overall stage mastery that is not to be missed. On this effort
she is using a crackling, popping backup band that is enjoying the performance along with her.
One of the best live albums you have heard in a long time--
both in musicianship and sound quality.
If you are an established fan of Ms Difranco, this will have you clapping with glee.If you are not---you will be after you
give this one a listen.I fall into the latter catagory. This was my first experience with Ani's music.rest assured it will
not be my last.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! |
