Overpraised as staple of underground hip hop, Keith's delivery of science-sexy nonsense can be entertaining but grew stale along with the 90's beats. |

The first time I heard this record I was like "... what ... the... hell..." but the more I listened to this album the more endearing it became to me. I think I've had to re-buy it 2 or 3 times before I converted it to digital format.
Dan the Automator's beats on this record are wonderful because they're so diverse. In addition to the songs on the record there's a good amount of segues/interludes that feature music over skits. The rapping on this album is great because:
1. Kool Keith is an excellent rapper
2. Kool Keith writes some of the weirdest lyrics I've ever heard on this album.
This album is full of winners. I think the tracks that stand out the most are "3000", "Earth People", "Real Raw", "Blue Flowers"... I'm just gonna stop because I'll end up spilling out more than half the track listing as favorite tracks by the time I'm done. It's overwhelmingly unique in a genre that's packed with imitators. The work these guys do transcends the genre itself and ultimately produced a record that's worth being heard by everyone.
There's never been another hop hop album (aside from The Roots's Phrenology) that's made me so enthusiastic about the genre. It was also the first hip hop album to make me look at the genre as an artform as opposed to a commercial vehicle for the industry to make money. So yeah, if you got an open mind and can be brave enough to venture into the twisted world of Dr. Octagon, you won't be disappointed if you jump on in. |

| This is a must have for any true hip hop fan. If you love to listen to Jay Z, 50 Cent, Little John, and other vomit, you wouldn't understand. This album is responsible for the success and recognition of the entire underground scene. It was created years ago and is still decades before it's time. It's perfect creativity and is a must have for any hip hop head. By far, Kool Keith's best album ever. Cop this or be square. |

| Just call 1-800-PP5-1DOO-DOO and in no time at all you too will be able to easily accommodate a summer squash!! Who needs professional ethics when you perform saliva gland relocations? not ME!!, not Dr. Octo, and neither should you! I got to tell you! What could be more fun than sex with patients, botched surgeries (pass me the Fentanyl), cannibalism and sadomasochism all in one pretty package with Dan the Automator at the knobs and Qbert on the tables...This is real raw fur coat style legitimacy... |

| The seller sent the CD as soon as was stated, and I received it in fine condition, with limited scratches as stated. The only thing I was a little disappointed about was it had been stated that I would receive the CD cover slip, although not in good condition. I did not receive the CD coverslip, it actually came in a thin case that usually holds burned CDs. The CD was not burned though, and it plays fine. |
