| My grandma and I were sitting on the couch and a song came on by this woman and she said she wished she had the CD of her and within 5 minutes on amazon.com, I had the CD all ordered and on its way and when it arrived, she was so ecstatic! |

A true musical wonder Submitted on: 2007-11-30 |

I saw Nellie in New York while on my honeymoon in 1948--she can take you on
a humorous ride that makes you want to jump to the rythym. This CD is a great collection of her
bouncy tunes--well-worth the purchase. |

This is the CD to get for her big hits Submitted on: 2006-11-01 |
|
| This is the CD that contains most of her hits, many of which occured between 1947 and 1953. The sound quality is terrific and Nellie is, well, Nellie. If you are not familiar with her music you are in for a real treat. She accompanies herself on the piano and sings up a storm! Her band sizzles as well. |

fan for 35 years Submitted on: 2000-07-22 |

| Jazz always filled my childhood home. I use to like to listen to my parent's Jazz albums as a child growing up. My parents had a Nellie Lutcher 78, I use to listen to it all the time. I do not have a turn table that will play 78's. This best of Nellie Lutcher CD has all of the tunes I loved and then some. I can't wait to get the CD so I can listen to her music again! It's been years... |
