Not Keoki's Greatest Submitted on: 2005-08-05 |

| This might be an Ego Trip, but it's also a bad trip. It makes it hard to kick back and relax. I know people like to dance to this type of music too, but it may not be worth the energy. There are however a few decent parts on the album, like some of Majick, and parts of Space. Even so, I would steer clear of this and get something better. |

This CD isn't for Everyone Submitted on: 2004-06-12 |

| If you like very tech oriented music, then this cd is for you. Unfortunately, I like my electronic music with a bit of soul. I find most of the music very hard and cold. This disc has some of the cheesy effects I hate in electronic music: maniac laughing and blaring sirens. The highlight of the disc is the last track, Caterpillar, which is an amazing dance single. But, in my opinion, not worth buying the whole album for. |

One of the most overlooked and best techno cd's out there. Submitted on: 2003-06-13 |

| This cd was truly innovative for the time period, also Keoki was trying to accomplish what no other DJ had really done before, become a superstar by singing instead of dj'ing. (Enter Miss Kittin) Put this together and he would have been very succesful. Unfortunately MTV never found Keoki airworthy and he is now bitter and pretty much out of the scene. :( |

If you don't like this record, i don't like you. Submitted on: 2002-03-31 |

| Ok, not really, but this is one amazing cd. Keoki is really really popular right now electronica-wise, but I think this is great to get even if you are new to the genre. Keoki uses really interesting and unique vocal samples, which is rare. Even if you aren't mesmerized by his beats (which are something by themselves), then you can entertain yourself w/ the lyrics, particularly in song 3 "me": do me, suck me like me chew me....the whole song is like that. the best track though in my opinion is "crash" because he uses such great effects. There is a siren mixed in...and the song has an awesome beat. plus the very last song on the record is "catepiller", one of keoki's better-known peices of work. "Ego-Trip" is a must for any electronica fan! Buy it and you won't regret it! |

| I have been into "techno" for awhile now, and listen to all kinds, from drum and bass to trance. I heard about Keoki just a couple of months ago when he DJ'd near me, and I loved him. This album sounds different than his other stuff, more just electronica/techno over his normal style, making this a good album to have if you are into the more mainstream Chemical Bros. or Crystal Method. I think of this album as almost the link between mainstream and normal Keoki, people who listen to either should love it. |
