I listen to soundtracks all the time and this is one of my favorites. Fenton did an excellent job. As you listen to the tracks, you can hear every word being said, and the feeling behind the words. Its an awesome track to listen to. My favorite songs are Veronicas Training, and the Second Duel.
Huge reccommendation |

A great classical soundtrack... Submitted on: 2006-08-31 |

| If you found the music of the movie "Dangerous Beauty" at all appealing, you will definitely enjoy this soundtrack. Unlike your average movie soundtrack, each track on this CD transitions well into the next. The result is that the music does not sound chopped up; it feels almost like a seamless flowing piece. As for the music itself, well... it's just lovely. One gets swept away by the emotion of the movie all over again. Did I mention that I love the movie, too? |

Perfect souvenir, 'cause the tracks are in order! Submitted on: 2005-06-16 |

This is the soundtrack for one of my favorite movies of all time. While the music is gorgeous, the highest praise I can give this particular album is this: the music on the album is in the order in which it is heard in the film. Most scores are mixed up, probably for aesthetic reasons, but that can make it hard to line up the music to the film. This score CD is in order, so when I listen to it, it tells the story. So when you hear "Second Poetry Duel" after "First Poetry Duel," you know why, and the music follows.
Now, if you haven't seen the movie, the music here is still perfectly wonderful, sweeping and romantic. The score is pleasant and light, evoking Renaissance Venice (though the music itself isn't particularily period) and doesn't crash over your head. I recommend it highly, along with the film for which it was written. |
