| Not that I didn't like the "other" cd with more track sung by several musicians but this is more the instrumental music which you heard during the movie. |

| While for the most part, I have received nothing but the best quality of products when ordering from Amazon.com,however, I placed 2 different orders for The Horse Whisperer Original Score by Thomas Newman and both times received The Horse Whisperer: Songs from and Inspired By The Motion Picture (Various Country Artists). I did receive a refund for the purchases but I'm still a little disappointed that I can't seem to get the Original Score that I have wanted for quite some time. While I will still order products from Amazon.com I will always be a little anxious that I will be getting the correct product. Thank you for refunding the money for the the purchase so promptly, that shows good customer relations. Thanks, Michael Farish |

The Horse Whisperer: Original Score - I saw the movie first... The soundtrack paints a vividly expansive picture of the western provinces of the United States, it is Nature incarnate, art complementing art. The artist, Thomas Newman, is one of my favorite artists. He has a certain style that is easily discernable, along with being pleasant to listen to. Other works include: Angels In America - Music From The HBO Film, Road To Perdition, and Shawshank Redemption. Just to name a few
I am a collector of movie soundtracks. My resources for the acquisition of soundtracks include the usage of many music libraries. Soundtracks in general are particularly difficult to acquire. If you don't look for them within the first few weeks of the actual movie release, chances are that you'll be unsuccessful at finding that selection at all. This is not so with Amazon Music. I can usually count on finding what I want at Amazon Music. This includes the accompanying artwork. Thank You Amazon
