 Time to regroup and reminisce

I have been a long-time OMEN fan, and I love all their albums up until the BEST OF (Teeth of the Hydra). This album sounded to me like an attempt to come back before they were ready, and with a terrible vocalist to boot.
If you are new to OMEN, I suggest the first three albums (Battle Cry, Warning of Danger, and The Curse), or the BEST OF if you can only choose one. The BEST OF album is a pretty good example of the styles from each early album, containing some of their best songs (but not ALL the best ones).
I have not yet heard the newest album, but it sounds like it might be a decent return to form, based on reviews. I think it will be quite tough to replace J.D. Kimball on vocals, though. |
