One of the best live praise and worship albums ever Submitted on: 2009-03-04 |

| My mother introduced me to this album in 1992. The original album was released in 1990 on cassette (and possibly 12in. LP) the CD was later released by Benson in 1994. This album is a true blessing! Larnelle Harris is a rare musical talent. This album is live praise and worship which is different from his other albums. Man, the performance builds up solidly to the song "When Praise Demands a Sacrifice" and has a beautiful ending with "Amen" and "An Open Door". It is truly an anointed performance by the Holy Spirit. Do not miss an opportunity to buy this album. |

Why isn't there a DVD of this amazing performance? Submitted on: 2007-09-28 |

Apparently, no DVD is available of this performance. What a great loss! I would love to visualize the incredible music and see Larnelle as well as the "Brooklyn Tab". BTW, I don't see what's so "cringe-worthy" about being glad to be with such an awesome choir???
I have only heard Larnelle live once, at the White Memorial Medical Center church in Los Angeles back in the late '90's. Wish there were DVD's of Larnelle's concerts available.
There's a parable about the sheep and the goats that Jesus told, about feeding the hungry, clothing the naked...that's what your song "Open Door" is all about, doing it unto "the least of these". God's kingdom will grow, like it never has before, when we make our hearts an open door, [and I would add] for the Holy Spirit to dwell inside of us.
The song that has helped me the most in my life's journey has been "Everything You Are". It's amazing what you think you need and can't do without, until you lose it all. Then you realize that the only thing we ever really need, is the one thing that will always be there for us - Jesus Christ!
Thanks Larnelle for sharing your gift and for giving God the glory.

A Must Have Submitted on: 2007-05-31 |

I was privileged to see Larnelle Harris perform this album LIVE at The Chapel in Akron, OH. This would have been 1992 (I was 14) It was something I will never forget. He was absolutely amazing. The song "Didn't You Know" brought me to tears, just as it did for others. I cannot say enough for this album, it's fantastic.
If you're a Larnelle fan and you don't own this album, I'd be truly surprised!!! It's a must have for anyone who enjoys music! |
