| Remastered versions way too heavy on bass! Original version (we compared) was far easier on the ears and allowed the music to permeate, not the thump. Realize that this was done for broader appeal, but we feel gypped. |

| There's a problem with lumping two albums into one disc - I consider "Ventures in Space" one of the all-time great Ventures albums, but cannot tolerate "Telstar/Lonely Bull", which is pedestrian and MOR. Why couldn't the package be "Space" and "Surfing"? Still worthwhile but hampered by a half. |

| I WAS A DISC JOCKEY BACK IN THE LATE 70'S, EARLY 80'S. MY SPECIALTY WAS UNDERGROUND NEW WAVE. I HAD THE ALBUM "VENTURES IN SPACE" AND PLAYED SEVERAL CUTS DURING MY SHOW. EVERYONE LOVED THE FREAKY, GARAGE BAND SURFER SOUND. IN THE PROCESS OF MOVING, MY COPY WAS DESTROYED. I'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR ANOTHER ONE EVER SINCE. I WAS ECSTATIC TO FIND THE CD ON AMAZON! THE PRICE WAS FANTASTIC AND BUYING FROM AMAZON WAS EASY AND PAINLESS. I GOT THE CD IN 3 DAYS. SINCE THEN I HAVE PURCHASED SEVERAL MORE HARD TO FIND CD'S FROM AMAZON.COM. |

| OF THE DOZENS OF VENTURES RECORDS RELEASED OVER THE YEARS(AND I HAVE MOST OF THEM), THIS DOUBLE CD CONTAINS TWO OF THE BEST ALBUMS THEY EVER MADE. IF I HAD TO PICK ONE CD OF THE VENTURES MUSIC TO HAVE (NOT A "GREATEST HITS") ALBUM, THEN I WOULD PICK THIS ONE. |
