| Gil is amazing. I have been a fan of his since I heard his song If You Only Knew. I have had this CD since it came out in like 98 I think. Anyways, I suggest you get this CD. My Song Reviews: See It In Your Eyes: I absolutely love this song. It always gets me up and singing along: 5/5 If You Only Knew: it's a good song but I've heard it too many times. But it's really well done and great back-up vocals as well: 4/5 Bang, Bang, Bang: ooohhh this song always gets me pumped: 5/5 Round N Round: another song that I've heard a lot but it's really cool: 4/5 I Am So In Love: sweet, great song. Gil is so fit for slow songs: 5/5 Am I Crazy: I love the different sound: 4.5/5 Come On, Come On: OW! This song is bitching: 5/5 For Heaven's Sake: great song. One of the best: 5/5 Charline: fun, happy song: 4/5 I Need You: best: 6/5 Bandstarter: good Karaoke song: 5/5 Never Giving Up Now: cute song: 5/5 Goodbye: sweet sound: 5/5 all around - it's one of the best CDs. | All I'm going to really say about this is that, for a debut album, this is definitely quality material. Gil writes with his head and sings with his very heart and soul. Not many artists are real like that. If you want serious music, and you're willing to pardon the occasional repetitiveness or some of the speech errors in the lyrics, (for someone who's only been learning English for the past few years, he knocks the socks off most high school graduates I've spoken with) this will be a great buy. If you don't like this album, it can only be for one of two reasons: 1.) You have a totally different taste in music (which is highly respectable), or 2.)You weren't listening to it properly (and yes, there's a proper way of listening to music). |

| Oh my gosh, this cd was so great..... When you look at his pictures you would think that Gill would sound like a girl, but in actual reality, he has the most powerfull voice i have ever heard, and he plays his own guitar, which he is also really good at. He just blew me away....And the lyrics, which he wrote himself, where so meaningfull... I think that everyone can relate to at least one of his songs. My personal favorite song on this album is "I need you" I think it is such a good song, and it shows his romantic side. His song "I am so in love" was written about his girlfriend who he is now broken up with, but it is such an emotional song..... I really reccomend this cd for any person who is into emotional and very soothing music. |

LISTEN UP! this cd is so awesome.. words can NOT describe it. if you do not own this cd you have NO idea what you are missing. i recently just found out about Gil and his music. he is like no other. HE IS SOOO AWESOME!! you MUST buy this CD and his other one titled 'the album'. this guy rocks and is bound to be a legend. |
