Love it - but puzzled Submitted on: 2005-11-26 |

My name is Shirley Parker. I've loved this album ever since it was a cassette tape. I particularly like "Much Too High A Price". I sing it every chance I get... I promised God I would.
Each time I sing it I say "This is absolutely the greatest song in the whole world." I have two questions though:
* Why is the cd so high in cost?
* Do you have this album on CD as a split track or acompaniment track cd?
* I love the song "Love Found A way" as well. I ask the same questions about this song as well. |

| This is to me the most inspirational CD ever. Larnelle was given a special gift and he uses it to the maximum. |

| This is one of my all time favorite CDs. God works mightily through Larnelle Harris. Even though Larnelle had done lots of great stuff and this CD has been around for a while, I think this is his best project. "Love Found a Way" tells the story of God's reaching out in grace to us through all of history--finding a way in and through Christ for God's love to be available to all. "I Miss My Time with You" will convict you to recommit yourself to spend the time with God that God deserves--the time that God aches to spend with you. "I Want to Know Christ" echoes Paul's words in Philippians 3 and is the heart's cry of every devoted follower of Christ. If I had to pick a theme song for my walk with God, this would be one of the finalists. "Much Too High a Price" is a song I can't even talk about without being moved. The first time I really listened to it, I wept uncontrollably. It speaks so powerfully of the price Christ paid for us--and calls us to respond with a love that doesn't, that can't, that won't, ignore that sacrifice. It's the best song on the CD--worth the price all by itself. (And that from someone who almost never buys a CD for just one song.) You can't go wrong with this one. |

| I first heard this album back when they were called albums. The radio release was the very thought provoking "I miss my time with you." Talk about inspirational music. To think that God Almighty would sit around waiting to spend time with me, wanting to hear me express my ideas, wishes or needs. It blew me away, and still does today. I've still got the album on tape and it's about had it. So that's why I stopped by today, I need to replace it so that I can enjoy all of those wonderfully performed, memorable songs again like never before. Yes the album is rightly named for we must never forget about maintaining a humble approach to life, and to remember what our calling is. Definitely a must buy for those occasional, but guaranteed, bouts and walks through the long valleys of life; when we forget that God hasn't left our side but is patiently waiting to spend time with us. Or, to remind us why each day is suppose to be a happy one and that although he paid too high a price for us he is the mighty fortress that has his eye even on the lowly sparrow. |
