If you liked the movie then surely you'll love the music too.
But the album did not have Armagideon Time, but well...the way of the samurai is found in death..... |

What could be more appropriate for a movie about the super-warriors of the Far East than a soundtrack put together by Wu-Tang Clan founder/member RZA? The GHOST DOG soundtrack is another gem from the Shaolin genius. Here he produces, writes, performs, and collaborates with other Wu members to lend the film its diverse musical landscape.
"Strange Eyes" rocks steady with a blues-guitar-and-organ loop, while Sunz of Man, 12 O'Clock, and Blue Raspberry hold down the rhymes. "Stay with Me," a soulful expression of urban loneliness, pairs 12 O' Clock with Melodie. One of the hottest tracks on the soundtrack is "Cakes," featuring Kool G Rap and RZA on the mic.
Other tracks worth checking out include RZA's collaborations with Black Knights ("Zip Code"), Masta Killa & Superb ("The Man"), and Tekitha ("Walkin' Thru the Darkness," where RZA takes you on a '70s-soundtrack trip). The GHOST DOG soundtrack is a must for loyal Wu-heads, and "Fast Shadow" even reveals a special Wu-Tang Clan surprise.

Best song from the movie is missing but still a good listen Submitted on: 2005-12-16 |

I was sadly disappointed to find that the one song that really caught my ear was not included on the sound track and although I was extremely disappointed I found that I really enjoyed the CD despite the fact that I'm not much of a fan of rap/hip hop/gangsta.
If you're looking for the sole reggae song that was played in the movie then you want find it here. The song you are looking for is Armagideon Time by Willie Williams, also covered by the Clash. |

This is NOT the original soundtrack !!! Submitted on: 2004-03-25 |
|
| To make it short : The original is : "Ghost Dog : The Way of The Samouraï" (Bmg, 2000), Japanese Version (with instrumentals and so on...) AND NOT : "Ghost Dog : The Way of The Samouraï - The Album" that everybody is talking about... Philippe |

CLASSIC!!! Submitted on: 2004-03-16 |

| The movie is great, but the soundtrack is better. If you're looking for the score to the film you've got the wrong album, all of that stuffs on the Japanese import. If you're looking for one of the best hip hop albums no one ever heard, buy this now. Anyone who hates on this album is not a hip hop fan. This album crunches!!! |
