| Ever since I first heard their biggest American hit, "Our House" in 1983, I have been a Madness fan! Unfortunately, the morons who dictate what should be played over and over and over again decided, "That's all the time we have for this latested import from across the sea!" and so with little (very little actually) time allowed for the follow up, "It Must Be Love" (My personal favourite!) that was it for this incredibly talented group of seven, who remain very popular in the UK and elsewhere around the world to this day 10 March 2009, and if the truth be known they are something of a cult in America as well! This CD includes many (but not all) of their many hit songs including their UK #1, "House of Fun"! I could list all the others which I have played over and over, and will continue to do so for many years. I would recommend this compilation to anyone who ever appreciated discovering an act (for that is what they truly are, a talented group not only musically talented, but quite deleriously funny, one might even say MAD, just check out their videos on youtube)that few people have ever heard of, for that is what they remain to so many in the USA, an unknown band. But don't take my word for it, buy the CD. You will enjoy such great songs as "My Girl" (no not the same one as The Temptations, yech!), "The Return of the Las Palmas 7", "Night Boat to Cairo", "Wings of a Dove", "Michael Caine", "The Sun and the Rain" and all the rest. Simply fantastic! Then you'll understand why people such as myself shun programs such as American Idol, and have given up listening to ALL radio stations twenty years ago! |

| I have all their albums already and got this for a friend who did not. Greatest hits and good to introduce to those who want to catch up with the band. Hope they put out some new music this year. Too much crap out there and need quality music. |
